@Boehm Collector   You wear the same color I wear in the futurist foundation...I see that same color is the same with different foundation types sold by EL

...I did not know that.  I have wanted to try the double wear but didn't know what color to order....thanks!

@Hoovermom just in case you don't know, Sephora online sells mini sizes (0.6 oz vs 1 oz) of the Armani Luminous Silk foundation.  They don't always have every shade in stock, but it's $45 vs $65 if they do.  I wish they had the shade I bought in stock when I bought it during the sale, but they do now.

Lancome "powder" foundation.  It has a sponge to which you can wet for more coverage included.

Very light and natural but it covers alright when you get the correct shade.  There are so many choices.  Best to try on in a store.

@Icegoddess :  DIL saw that also, and she is trying to match her current foundation with the Armani one.  I am just going to go to Sephora in the next few days to check it out.  Thanks so much.

My two favorites are Laura Geller Balance n Brighten in Porcelain and Purito BB cream in Light Beige.

(FYI - Purito shades run very light and have a bit of a grey undertone.  The undertone disappears on my skin after a couple minutes)

I have a couple.

RMS-perfect color match and one pump is all you need for flawless perfect coverage.

Il Makiage-good coverage and perfect color matching, nice formula as well

Eve Pearl- Love her foundation as well, great coverage and the texture is great-gives that flawless look.

Giorgio Armani-Great foundation, medium coverage-not full coverage, but a really nice formula, perfect for someone who doesn't need full coverage....beautiful texture...

@Pink123 This reminds me of my mom. Lancôme Dual finish powder foundation was all the makeup she wore with the same pink coral lipstick for probably the last 20 yrs of her life. She knew what she liked and stuck with it.

How about posting an updated picture now that your peel has had time to heal? I am interested to see the results.

Re: Favorite foundation

[ Edited ]

@LuvSoCal  Yep, it's the world's most famous powder foundation.  best seller wise I mean.  I just love it.  I cannot stand the liquid feeling on my face.  I think it's Florida and it's humidity.

I'm doing very good so far.  My 3rd session will be early June.

I plan on 4.

Yes I will post a picture on the cool peel laser thread soon but results take up to a year for new collagen to rebuild itself.  It is now the second week and my skin is very smooth I must say.  And it is much lighter, yay!  (I'm fair and cool toned so am easily reddened.)

Another plus to this is that it get's rid of those spider veins if you have them, rosacea, fine lines, age spots, the works.  Tightening too of course.  This is for life. I'm doing it the slower way as I said before I believe because I don't want the 14 day and months of redness all at one time.  The end result should be the same but this way it's 2 to 3 days of redness and a sandy feeling on face.  No bad at all.  And after 24 hours your allowed to put some powder on gently as your skin is a bit sore to the touch.

Thanks for asking.

Oh, PS.  My pores are so small.  They were getting big on my chin when looking under a magnifying mirror.  They are almost gone.
