Re: Favorite facial scrub/exfoliator?

Thanks everyone for all your suggestions.  Have a nice list now to look into and see which one I want to try first.

Re: Favorite facial scrub/exfoliator?

I recently went back to Philosophy's Microdelivery facial wash and really enjoying it.  It's a daily facial scrub that leaves my skin really soft.

@San Antonio Gal Ohhh!  Will have to add that Philosophy Microdelivery wash to the list.  Used to use that and liked it.  Hmmm.....

@JudyL

Without a doubt...WEN!  It is truly the most gentle physical exfoliator I have ever used and takes a very small amount.  I exfoliate from forehead to décolletage daily.

Re: Favorite facial scrub/exfoliator?

I use 'St Ives Gentle Apricot Facial Scrub' 3 or 4 times a week, have used the high end stuff but always seem to go back to St Ives, leaves my skin baby soft.

The only one I can tolerate is Clinique 7 day scrub.  I don't use it every day but occasionally.

Re: Favorite facial scrub/exfoliator?

@JudyL I buy microdermabrasion crystals from Amazon (I buy the very fine #120 grit) & then I mix it with a bit of mother of pearl powder.

I wet my hands & face, add some powder, gently massage my skin with it & my skin feels smooth & soft. I use this every few days & my skin loves it.

My sister mixes this right into her face cleanser & uses it that way.

It's very inexpensive & works so well.

Re: Favorite facial scrub/exfoliator?

I always like to see everyone's recommendations.   Nice info to get and always appreciate the opinions, especially when someone takes the time to tell us why they like a product.  Thanks to everyone.  I am currently alternating between several so not with a favorite right now.

Re: Favorite facial scrub/exfoliator?

I have tried several different brands...some irrated - some didn't.....but my go-to comes from my kitchen.....Sugar.  I dampen my face and pour a dime-size amount of sugar into the palm of my hand then start lightly rubbing in circular motions all over my face, adding a few drops of water as needed....then rinse off and put on a moisturizer.....my face is as smooth a a baby's bottom.....lol.....

Re: Favorite facial scrub/exfoliator?

I have fair and senstivie skin but the two that I use are:

Dr.Denese microdermabrasive facial wash (very gentle on your skin but works)

Lancer Polish --either sensitive or normal ( a bit more of a scrub but not abrasive)

I just ordered the Lancer a few months ago to try and now alternate between the two just to use up the tube. Both work well and quick. Both remove sunscreen, makeup or nothing extra on skin. There isn't any drying or tightness when you rinse either product off. You only need a little bit to wash your entire face and neck. One tube lasts for months.

Hope one of them work for you.
