I am thinking of purchasing some body lotions or shower jells for Birthday gifts. What are your favorites?

I like 'Touch of Mink' extreme lotion....it is lovely. They have other lotions too...I like the Therapy lotion also. Any of the 3 they make are very nice. Mink oil is very hydrating. You can find them online, and get in on some sales. You may like it for yourself. I worked at the Fair when I was 21 in their booth and have loved their products ever since. They are located in Salem, Oregon. I can't be without their lotions.

Nothing expensive or gift worthy - Trader Joe's own brand and almond cherry scented Jergens!

You are so right, I love it. I got the vanilla apricot as a Christmas gift and can't stop using it.

1. Shikai Borage Therapy dry skin lotion - my miracle lotion (other than Olive Leaf extract). Even though they make a face cream version of this product, I prefer that "body lotion". I have long since ignored the body-lotion-is-only-for body concept when it comes to pure, good formulas. This one is fairly light weight.

2. Weleda Sea Buckthorn body lotion - LOVE the smell and use this when I want a richer one than above.

Bliss Body Butter

I've tried all named and a million more. Bliss is the best in my opinion, especially their lemon/sage hand cream for parched, dry hands, but their sage body butter is fantastic !

My favorite body moisturizers are Korres Mulberry Vanilla Body Butter & Bergamot Pear - they're all natural and really nice; and Philosophy Whipped Body Creme, I love Amazing Grace. The whipped consistency feels awesome and soaks right in.

I love the FAB (first aid beauty) it goes on smooth not greasy and last 24 hours. It's the ultra repair cream and it is great!

I just found out that Philosophy is NOT cruelty free. It said any skin care brand who is jumping on the band wagon to make mega bucks in China tests on animals first. It's the law in China. If they want to sell there, they must be placed on the DO TEST ON ANIMALS list. I love my Purity and their lotions but not enough to fund this sort of thing. So disappointed in Philosophy!
