Aloha beauties!  I just tossed my lash primer this morning & plan to buy a new one, but want a different brand.  I've been using Urban Decay & Iike it okay, but want to venture into another brand.

What are some of your favorites & why?  Please share.

@SurferWife Aloha to you, too! 😄 I have used the Urban Decay primer also, but I purchased one by Marc Jacobs back in February and I really like it - no complaints. I've tried It Cosmetics, Estée Lauder (which was good) and the Lash Paradise, but this one has been doing a great job for me.

Why? The reason being is that my lashes don't appear brittle as when I used some of the others. It wasn't bad at all, but I could tell. The MJ primer just doesn't do that at all. HTH

Thanks for the input @Mimi 1883!  The Estée Lauder primer is on my wish list & so is Too Faced & Benefit Cosmetics.  I just don't know which one to pick.

Lancome is my favorite. Dior has a nice one but too expensive for me.

@SurferWife  Oh, you're welcome! The EL primer was good and I don't *think* you would be unhappy with it. I haven't tried the others that you mentioned, but I Love Benefit's They're Real mascara - I use it primarily for my lower lashes as it does Not smudge at all. Everybody raves about the Too Faced mascara (I'm not a fan of the wand, so I didn't purchase) so maybe their primer is good, too??

I've also been thinking about trying out XLash to get longer and thicker (?) lashes. I watch MrsMelissaM on YouTube who swears by this product. The before and after pictures are quite impressive. Seeing is believing, and she's also not one to give phony accolades for products!

You'll have to let us know what you choose and if you like it or not.

Forgot to mention that the main reason I tried the MJ primer is it's cruelty free if that matter to you.

@Mimi 1883

I just ordered the EL primer.  I read good reviews about it on the EL website, plus I got 15% off & free shipping (unusual for HI).  I'll let you know how I like it.

Benefit's They're Real Masara is one of my top 2 favorite mascara (IT Superhero is my other favorite).  I was thinking of getting the They're Real primer, but really wanted to try EL.

Have a great Friday!

@SurferWife  My favorite one is Laura Geller fortifying lash primer. You have to get it on her website now, (it's currently half price) the Q used to have it.

Its been my favorite for years..Smiley Happy

I used to like Tarte's primer, but now I like L'oreal's primer in the white tube so much better.  It thickens my lashes a little - I only need one coat of mascara - my mascara doesn't smear all over my face - my mascara is easier to remove at the end of the day.

(I haven't worn primer or mascara since February - it's probably turned to cement in the tube by now)
