Hi ladies-

I am in the market for a new eyelid primer. I have dark eyelids that can become dry and flaky. I have been using Mally's but would like to try something else that has better staying power. Any favorites?

Thanks so much Smiley Happy

Mac 24 Hr is my favorite. Not too drying & it takes just a tiny amount to amke your shadow last really well.

I like Bare Minerals' Prime Time. Very small tube, but very little needed. Eye shadow just glides over it. Same with their primer for the face. No matter whose makeup I use, these two primers work every time!

Bareminerals or urban decay are the only two I've tried that don't crease or get oily throughout the day....and I've tried a lot.

Hi @peace6576 .   I use MAC Paints in Bare Canvas.  It comes in a small tube.. but a little goes a VERY long way. One tube lasts me for months.   It actually is not a primer.  It is a cream eyeshadow.  But it works better than any eyeshadow primer I have ever used.

Urban Decay is terrific.  Keeps on my shadow all day.

Thanks for suggestions! IS it the Urban Decay Original that everyone uses? I see they have 5 different types.

UD Anti-Aging (dark purple tube) is great.

ThaBalm Stay don't Stray and Smashbox Photo Finish 24 hour shadow primer both work great. Beauty.com is having a sale.

I use Bobbi Brown's cream eyeshadow for a base.

One nice thing about this eyeshadow, use for base or wear alone.

Bone is a nice color.
