Suzanne Somers self tanner is non toxic certified ,and contains the same active tanning ingredients.

Do you know if it smells like the rest of them?

I have yet to find one that doesn't have that awful smell.

The tanning towel lady said theirs didn't have an odor, but then I've heard that story before.

I tried them and they didn't work for me. Plus I did think they had an odor, but not as pronounced as some of them have.

The towels themselves don't have an odor. Most self tanners smell fine or even nice. But your skin will have a baked goods scent while the tan is developing. All tanners do that. I just plan accordingly.

Usually I exfoliate on Thursday morning and tan late that evening. That way I'm good to go for the weekend. Late Thursday evening I'm kinda out of commission for anything strenuous (don't want to sweat) or in close contact with people I want to make a good impression on (due to the smell). I have to take into account what I will be doing after I tan.

I have found that several of them smell bad before I even put them on.

And showering doesn't help. They just stink!

I really like Tan Towels as well like Ms Happy Elizabeth indicates. They are SO easy to use. They come in 2 sizes, half sheet & whole. I can easily do my entire body with one whole towel. If I use the half and want to do my entire body I need two of them. If you just do your legs, half is great. I ordered two shipments on flexpay today - can't wait to get them. I've been thinking about when this tsv would happen and here it is today! Good price for this one too.

I've had these last season and really enjoyed using them. They color nicely, you can control it via how many you use - and I can tan twice and see a difference. And I DO NOT at all think they smell which is nice.

I hate Tan Towels. Sorry I know I'm in the minority but I think they are one of the worst I've ever used. The smell is the most disgusting, the color isn't good, they dried my skin out something horrible and when they start to wear off, you look all speckled and spotted.

I am really, really impressed with the Walmart version of St. Tropez so far. REALLY impressed!

Oh! I haven't seen this yet...will check next time....I have seen the Walmart version of jergens, but not this one. Sounds very interesting, thanks for the review! Does it say compare to St Tropez on the label?

I like Tan Towels and the color they give me. I also like Jergens, but the Tan Towels are easier to use and give more even coverage. I don't notice a bad smell from either product.

I have settled on the Tan Towels after trying so many brands. If find them to be the least smelly, fasted drying and easiest application. The have a light citrusy scent but I don't smell that funky smell.

I saw the Walmart version of the St Tropez. It's a white can with blue and does say compare to St Tropez. There were different formulas and I couldn't decide which to try. Thought maybe someone who tried it would be more specific about which they liked best. I'm sure there was a foam and a spray and maybe something else.
