I tried this for the first time this morning and while the results are great like other seasonals, I cannot get past the fragrance. It's just NOT for me. I probably used 12 pumps of the 16oz.

Is anyone who likes this one willing to trade me for something else? I'd really like to try Tea Tea or Bamboo Green Tea or even Summer Honey Peach if anyone has any of those to spare or whatever.

If this is not the proper place to look to trade, can someone point me to where that is ok?

It's not that it is not a proper place but most won't trade open items. Also being new on the boards, you will have a harder time making a trade. In addition, TT and BGT are staples for most ppl who have them and since we don't know what Fall 2014 will be yet, ppl who liked it some and have it may not want to give it up. Bad timing for getting rid of FAS. You may have to trash it or give it away at work.

I agree with KJ.

Try your community message board or your local Freecycle.

Ok no problem. Thanks for the advice. Luckily I don't *hate* it..just like pretty much all other CCs I've tried over it haha.

Mix in herbal essences rose scented cleansing conditioner, just a little and it will neutralize the strong maple scent noone likes. A friend told me that works great.

Thanks for the tip Kcladyz! It's just very..it's like a cloying bad apple cinnamon candle to me? But on the dry-down the smell is actually very pleasant! Just kinda nauseating in the shower haha. Will be trying Winter Cranberry Mint for the first time tomorrow. Trying to make my Summer Mango Coconut last as long as possible by shelving it while finally going through my other seasonals.

Now if he would only bring back Winter Vanilla Mint. I would buy a GALLON of that.

I agree about the "nauseating" smell, shrixer. FAS is the only WEN product that I absolutely hated, and felt was a waste of money (because I threw most of it out). I love all of the other seasonals, however. We can only hopes that Chaz comes out with something new this fall.

I hated it too. Managed to tolerate the scent by mixing with fig or Pom. The maple scent was all I could smell. Like you smc is one of my favorites, but I really liked the cranberry and hope you do too. Michele

Try mixing it with TT. While I don't hate the FAS, the scent is very Yankee-candlish, and lingers forever!! I once caught a strong sniff of it on my 3rd day hair when the wind blew through it- and I thought the scent had completely faded... But, it makes my hair look so awesome in comparison to any other Wen formula I forced myself to get used to it. I didn't care for the smell of TT at first either, but knowing how great it is in my hair I decided to keep using it and now I not only don't mind it , I sorta like it! Getting back to the point tho, mixing FAS with TT tamed the scent a lot for me. I'd suggest trying to mix it up with another scent before I'd toss it out.

I'm in the minority, I love FAS!! But if you don't like it, mix it with 613. It tames the maple smell and adds a vanilla note to it! I love it! I also add the 613 to the LAV, because one of my fave scents from Bath and Body Works is their Lavender Vanilla scent and the Wen LAV is a little strong to me. The 613 helps tone down a lot of the scents and you can get the added benefits of the 613. ;-)
