Actually my skin is more moist in the summer when I can enjoy the natural sun!! It's the winter with the cold and heat that is more drying!!
If you are tanning from the "natural sun," you are damaging your skin. That's just a fact -- a tan is a sign of damage. It will lead only to premature aging, if you're lucky; if you're unlucky, you will develop some form of skin cancer.
If you want the color, then use a good-quality faux product.

If one saw a little child with a tan, we'd assume the parents neglected to protect the child with sunscreen. Granted, faux tanning products are just cosmetics, but what's the message we're sending?
Because, according to QVC, it makes us look younger and thinner!

Like all the makeup I wear, I do it because I like it. I could embrace my lashes but I use Latisse and mascara and embrace them that way!
I will admit it has been a very long time since I've seen an orange tan in real life. I see it on television but that could be my television sceen and settings.
I wear makeup for a reason, I wear a bra for a reason, I style my hair for a reason and I self tan for a reason. Hopefully if we met in person, you'd find my tan to be a good color, evenly applied and making me look 10 lbs thinner!

Thank you!
Fake tans for fake people. They certainly don't look 'healthy' to me.

consider the alternative and skin cancer, I embrace a light Tan Towel tan rather than frighten children and small animals with my ghostly pallor. My derm (a skin cancer specialist) carries the Tan Towel but I find HSN less expensive.

I think that's not a fair tag to hang on a person who chooses to tan.
