@jackthebear Re: bringing food. Are we talking about tipping at holidays or just in general? I don't think food is appropriate during the year...

I think that most people don't want more stuff--candles, or mugs or food, a tip is best.

i used to do 15 for hair and stuff like that, but recently adjusted to 20, thinking that at my stage of life, the extra isn't going to break the bank and might make a difference to the person giving the service.
