I just bought Aveeno face lotion spf 50...with "oats," and it burns my eyes, even though it states that it is "sweat-proof."

Is there a face spf that is not white with zinc, heavy, or oily feeling ...and doesn't burn the eyes? If so, PLEASE let me know. I am not having success.

(It could have a tint...but no burning eyes!)

If you have a derm you go to, ask them. Never had burning experience with SPF I and use any drug store brand with SPF 30. Good luck

Does this mean that no one has an spf that that doesn't burn? I don't have a derm, otherwise, that would be a good idea; I was just hoping that someone has a fave spf that would work?

High end or drugstore...I am not picky as long as it doesn't burn and feels non-existant.

I use Skinceuticals Sheer Physical Defense SPF 50. I have sensitive skin/eyes, but this never bothers me. It's a fantastic liquid--not thick or oily. And it dries to a nice semi-matte finish. The one I use is not tinted, so it has a whitish tint (makeup covers right up). They also have a tinted version, if you prefer that. I usually purchase it online. Some med spas carry it, too.

Paula's Choice Resist super light spf 30. It is zinc oxide but is tinted. I love it! It is lightweight and works really well under makeup. I also apply it under my eyes without any problems.

I can only use the stuff that has zinc oxide as the main protector against the sun. The ones that have more chemicals always sting my sensitive skin.

Peter Thomas Roth oil-free spf 30 and there is an oil-free spf 50 in a stick form.

The IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream w/SPF 50 doesn't sting at all and provides nice coverage, it's my new favorite.
