I have never tried FGP. I started getting the seasonals last fall when FAS was offered. I have tried FAS, SOB, and SHP. I still have a bottle of Winter cranberry mint I have yet to open because I bought multiples of the other seasonals.

For me, the FAS and SHP work best on my hair. My hair is fine, but lots of it, and curly. No problem with dryness or split ends. It just does better with moisturizing products which can't be too heavy or my hair goes flat.

How does the FGP compare to FAS and SHP? I am planning on getting the TSV with the fig but also plan on getting whatever seasonals are offered as well since I use the seasonals regularly. I searched the old posts but most people reviewed the scent of FGP and I would like to know how moisturizing it is in comparison to the FAS and SHP. There were comparisons to WVM but I didn't start with the seasonals until last fall and WVM was no longer offered. Thanks in advance!

I feel that FAS and SHP are more moisturizing than FGP, for my hair anyway. I wasn't a big fan of FGP. I didn't like the smell very much. It had a very dominating cinnamon scent. I am not a big fan of cinnamon.

I have tried all the seasonals except SMC and SOB. I do very well with SHP and FAS just like you do. I agree with Hilary that FGP is not as moisturizing as those two, but it is not drying. I was extremely happy with FGP. I felt it was moisturizing and it also gives shine. Not crazy shine, but shine. Chaz has really kicked it up a notch since FGP came out. He's had more experience putting these together now. You do smell more cinnamon than pumpkin but the pumpkin is there. I think FGP mostly smells like Red Hot candies. I love it. It will probably remain one of my all time faves.

Hillary and Kjelle, thanks so much for your help!

I saw a thread yesterday (I can't find it today) showing a three different 32 ounce seasonals and FGP was one of them but maybe it won't even be offered.

I'm like you, OP. FAS and SHP have been the very best things for my hair.

FGP smelled wonderful but nothing has performed like FAS and SHP for me. I'm really hoping this Fall's scent has the same properties.

I agree with both Hilary77 and Kjelle, FGP was not super drying but for moisture, the SHP is on top, then the FAS. I also really liked the WVM, to me it worked like SHP does on my hair. I found wen the week the first FGP was launched, I am a huge pumpkin fan, anything spiced, pumpkin type scent. I loved the FGP, I can not use it more than 3 times in a row though before I start getting dryness. That is better results than I have from any of the spring seasonals and the SMC and WCM, they were day after drying for me. The scent of the FGP, is more like a fresh pumpkin with spice, it's not a sweet scent like FAS. The replenish mist was, the FGP scent in the oil and mist was amazing!!! I was crushed when FGP & WVM went away, I stocked up big time and still have a sealed 32 bottle of both and a new opened bottle of both, with all the talk about FGP I cracked one open the other day to use. I will stock up again!

All of the seasonals probably work the same on my hair to, I just didn't like how spicy FGP was and just used it a few times, that one kind of burned my scalp, not a tingle, but burned.

I so appreciate all the responses! When I first started with the seasonals, I thought they pretty much performed the same. When I started with FAS and SOB, I was blowing my hair out and both did well. I just loved the scent of SOB better.

Then I went back to leaving my hair curly and that is when there seemed to be a difference. I found the SHP to be more moisturizing then SOB. Around a week ago, I opened up a bottle of FAS I was saving. My hair loved it and it seemed similar to SHP. I tried the SOB again and it wasn't drying, just not quite as moisturizing. That is how the POM is for me so I don't really use it much (I got it in a TSV on AD so I have loads of POM and but the seasonals are long gone)

Maybe the difference is in how I dry my hair or maybe even the season. It is now hot and humid and my hair gets kind of poofy with SOB.

Thanks again everyone!

I am getting all worked up and watch Chaz not even offer the FGP!

I have to remind myself that there is more than the scent to consider but I so love the scent of the seasonals. I don't want 32 ounces of something I can't really use.It is awesome to have a great scent and great performance as well.

Kjelle, you are so right when you said Chaz has kicked it up a notch. I am hoping the new fall seasonal is going to be wick-ed awesome!
