@Shanus - This will be an interesting and helpful thread. Thank you for starting it!

Some of my favorites now (My complexion is light and warm-toned)

Voodoo makeup - coconut cream foundation in cream, with matching concealer, and lipstick (Lala, Trinity, Coral Summer)

Laura Geller's Spackle in Champagne- Definitely an HG!

Laura Geller Balance & Glow in Fair

BareMinerals Complexion Rescue in Vanilla

Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40 in Diaz

RMS Beauty ReDimension Hydra Powder Blush in Bohemian Girl

Laura Geller Baked Highlighter in French Vanilla - another HG

Laura Geller Kajal Mascara

Belle Beauty eyeliners- the "older" ones in Pop Blue, Perfect Plum, and Vivid Green

Mally's pencil eyeliner in Mally's Glow

Cat Cosmetics eyeliner in Mythology (It's hard to describe this color. The website says moss green with gold shimmer. That would normally scare me away, but I got this as part of a travel bundle I wanted a while back. It made my hazel eyes look amazing!)

RMS Beauty Ultimate Brow Kit in Light

Mally's Face Defender - Thank goodness the company that owns her line went back to the original formula! - an HG

Lipsense Lip Colors - These are my HG lip colors. You might not like the formula at first, but they STAY on. I do a lot of speaking in front of people and on camera. My lip color HAS to stay on. I've been wearing this for about 10 years!)

A few products I haven't been crazy about:

Laura Geller's Italian Marble lipstick- beautiful colors, but they disappear in 15 minutes!

Mally's latest mascaras - I miss her original formula

Any bronzer - I've tried a lot, and they just make my face look muddy!

@beach-mom NOone had Mally's original (in the white tube) mascara beat! I used it consistently, for a decade or more until it went away. Smiley Sad It was the best mascara I've ever used.

Went on beautifully, made my lashes long and striking, no glops, no traveling, no flaking...perfection. WHY that same formulation cannot be still made I'd love to know. But "they'll" never tell.

I don't know what you currently use...and there's probably another good one out there. As for me, I just didn't want to keep trialing and erroring...so when I asked on these Boards, years back, and several people recommended Loreal Luminous, I started using that. Not like Mally's, but pretty dang good, so I've stayed with it. Easy, I just keep getting it at my local CVS for about $10 or less with coupons...and I do like it.

@amyb - I so agree with you about the white tube! I also liked the pink waterproof one, as I swam almost every day.

I don't think I've tried L'Oreal's. I keep hoping to find my HG. Right now I like Laura's Kajal, but we'll see what comes along! And I'm going to try the L'Oreal one!  Smiley Happy

For my sensitive skin, I've tried two new products that seem to work really well by Vanicream, available online and many chain drug stores, Amazon, etc. Both are very reasonably priced. I ordered from the big A.

1) Vanicream Gel Deodorant - no underarm breaking out. It does the job it's supposed to do.

2) Vanicream Serum - hydrating, creamy, feels so nice on my skin and my tinted moisturizer works well with it.

@beach-mom   I thought it'd be a different way to hear about products. I see you like RMS blushes, too. I forgot to put them in my "Favorites".

@amyb   L'Oreal Voluminous has shot up in price. If I can get the BB Smokey Eye mascara on sale (often on the site 25% off), the price is almost the same.

Wow, no thanks! Reminds me of years ago I tried a Dr. Perricone trial kit...smelled like fish too! Ugh. Never used any of his items after. I was a dedicated DD fan by then.

@amyb   That's so interesting that you tried a Perricone trial kit and it smelled like fish too! I wonder if my Elemis eye cream and your Perricone MD trial kit share an ingredient? I tried to power through using the eye cream for weeks and I just couldn't get over the fish smell under my eyes.  I like eating fish, but I don't think I want to smell like fish.  Good decision to stop using the product Smiley Happy.

@beach-mom

you mentioned Lip Sense lip colors. I tried them a few years ago. Very happy with the appearance, staying power and colors. But even with the remover, I had to scrub so hard to get it off! Tore up my lips. Might be willing to give the product another try- any tips on removal?
