I’ve been using Skinceuticals for many years. It is medical grade w/ active ingredients. Although there are many products to choose from, I narrowed it down the few most necessary: moisturizer day, moisturizer night w/ AHA acid & eye cream. SPF Neutrogena or Skinceuticals Physical Fusion water resistant universal tinted SPF. Retin A (RX).
Since BB has changed “hands”, I’m no longer product loyal. I do use BB Oil Cleanser & foundation sticks when I want more coverage, Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer & Secret Camouflage. NARS Orgasn Multiples blush & NARS concealer. Setting powder either BB or NARS solid compact (white powder). Mascara is L’Oreal. Shadow by BB, LM and most often just LM Eye Basics lid primer to neutralize darkness. Mally waterproof liner. Lip color is BB, LM, NARS, but in summer, mostly neutral lip liner all over lips and a pink gloss.
I tend to like makeup that doesn’t look like I’m wearing any, so prefer those that are exact match to my skin and light in texture & coverage. I don’t own a full coverage foundation. Use what my foundation sticks + concealer in shade darker for around nose, etc. Eyes and lips also natural/neural, but brighter lip color now w/ grey/white hair.

ISOMERS
Because it works, no fragrance, fillers or stupid high prices. A little goes a long way.
Laura Gellar Blush, foundations super light, looks natural.
Laura Mercie - Highlighter - very fine and natural
It Mascara- 2 swipes and your done. No raccooning
Lisa Robertson eyeliner - super controllable, no racooning or eye irritants

@hopi. Did try an IT mascara in a kit, but don’t see much difference to drugstore brands. I toss 3 months after opening and only wear mu 3-4 days a week, so expensive mascaras seem wasteful for me.

Skincare: Dermalogica and Josie Maran argan milk . I like Josie Maran body butter and philosophy shower gels and lotions also.
Makeup: a lot of IT Cosmetics. I like the Illumination foundation and Bye Bye Undereye. I also like IT blushes and eyeshadows, although I am an equal opportunity eyeshadow buyer. I have palettes from several brands. I favor Lancome and Loreal mascaras. I'm all over the place with eyeliner. Some clinique, some Julep and some Mally.

For me for Skincare I primarily use:
Dr Perricone, with a little Philosophy and Algenist thrown in.
Foundation-Laura Mercier, and Becca
Blush-Laura Geller, and Dior
Mascara-Lancome,Benefit, or It Cosmetics. I only purchase the smaller sizes..
Eye Liner-Urban Decay, Bobbi Brown
Lipstick-all over the board, although lately my favs have been from urban Decay!
Brow Products-Bobbi Brown, Benefit and Anastasia.
I am not as loyal to makeup lines, as I am to skincare lines, and I like to play and try different things, so I will try other lines, but may not use them all the time.....I love Becca's undereye brightener, yet I love Laura Mercier's concealer.....But listed above is what I usually gravitate towards........

I never use one skincare line exclusively, but Biologique Recherche is my favorite. Never fragranced and contains lots of actives and many products especially for mature skin concerns. Also no aloe or chamomile, which I can’t tolerate. I regularly use cleanser, exfoliating toner, mask and face cream. I like their serums but they are very expensive. I have a few but use them sparingly.
A very close second is Isomers. No fragrance and usually no aloe or chamomile. I use a few serums and one face cream.

@CANDLEQUEEN You jump around brands like I do. For 20 yrs., I was BB only, all skincare & makeup. When Lauder took over, products changed for younger consumers, prices went up, shadows became sparkly & models about 16 yrs. old. I jumped ship.

I don't have one preferred brand for facial skin or makeup. I prefer to pick the products I like best from multiple brands instead of just using one brand. For my body, I mostly use Philosophy and Josie Maran because I love the Philosophy body washes and lotions and the Josie Maran sugar scrub and body butters.
Last night I used a cleanser, an exfoliator, a sheet mask, and a moisturizer and none were the same brand. This morning I used a different cleanser, a face mist, an essence, a serum, a different moisturizer, a sunscreen and a primer and the only overlap was both my AM and PM moisturizers were by Elemis because I got them in a set.

The esthetician I had a facial with a month ago (a treat from my SIL) mentioned the benefits of Skinceuticals. I tried one thing from them a long time ago.
However, I have other lines that continue to be effective for me: Principal Secret cleansers and all the Reclaim eye thingsI Also love the nighttime Reclaim botanical moisturizer that I use for daytime (no need for nighttime moisturizer for years now.)
Love Alpha for the AHAs Enhanced Renewal cream and the retinol at night. Love Devita vitamin C.
I love what green tea (I make my own) is doing for my skin. I drink it throughout the day, but also toning with it in the a.m. and using it as essence in p.m.
For makeup: IT Bye-Bye Pores andr You Sculpted palette for blush & highlight shading.
Shadow from Laura Geller for eye liner, which does have sparkle because my eyes are smooth and unlined. Even if they weren't, I like dimension and do not care for a flat look, which can make one look dry and older (imo.) Just depends on how you use it.

I like Isomers. I use her products that I can see a diference when using them. Matrixyl-4, Glutathiosome, RPur, Accelerated Recovery Serum are the main products I use.
I only apply makeup now if leave the house so I don't use much.
Right now I'm using Eve Pearl. I only use a small amount foundation, a little blush & some gloss or lip stain. I don't put anything on my eyes because they run too much.
