I am trying to decide how much FAS CC to stock up on since I have not heard if it will return next fall. I am looking for very moisturizing formulas. For those who have used both FAS and WVM, how do they compare moisture-wise? Thanks!

Re: FAS vs. WVM Performance?

I would say FAS has the slight edge on WVM in the moisture department. It also, due to the maple, adds a shine to the hair the WVM does not offer. Don't get me wrong, WVM does perform. It was the only reason I didn't ship back, bc I don't like the smell. But like I said, FAS wins for moisture.

For me, fall apple spice has more moisture.

I love both of these formulas, but FAS is a better performer in terms of shine and moisture.

Re: FAS vs. WVM Performance?

I can't speak to the performance of WVM, because I haven't tried it. I couldn't get past the smell. It's not unpleasant, but I have no desire to smell like a chocolate mint patty. To me, there's very little vanilla, it's all chocolate and mint. I have one 16 oz bottle of WVM (I sold the rest), I might have to finally try it this year.

I have tried all of the other seasonals, and FAS is the best performing for my hair. It gives me great moisture and more shine than any other formula. I ordered one 32 oz. on AD this year and will have to figure out how many to order for the second shipment. It really is a great formula!

It seems FAS is the consensus! Thanks, Ladies Smiley Happy

Re: FAS vs. WVM Performance?

Y'all have about talked me into ordering some FAS. {#emotions_dlg.biggrin} I feel like I am needing more moisture. I'm waiting for the shows Friday, but I think I may HAVE to order this now.

Re: FAS vs. WVM Performance?

First off - I've not tried WVM, so sorry, I can't comment on its performance. Secondly - FAS - LOVE IT! Of all the seasonals I've tried, this performs the best for me (moisture and shine), plus I love the way the scent lingers in my hair for days. I've not found any other formula that has the scent staying power FAS has. One day last year I went to work and a co-worker said "I smell cookies", yep that would be my WEN hair! Every time I catch a whiff of it, it makes me smile.

FAS shine is spectacular, it gives more shine and moisture, definitely. I never found WVM particularly moisturizing.

Re: FAS vs. WVM Performance?

FAS is far more moisturizing, so much so that I can't use it, it leave my very fine, straight hair limp and greasy/heavy, with no body. WVM is far better for my hair type. If you are looking for moisture to the max, FAS is even better than Fig in my experience.
