Eyeshadow shelf life ????

I just came across while cleaning my make up cabinet a box of eyeshadows that I had packed when we moved and haven"t re-opened until now...and we moved two years ago...

So I'm guessing the products are atleast four years old...many are smashbox, Lancome and some drugstore.

My question to anyone who might know is there such a thing as shelf life on powered eyeshadow ??? They seem to be fine no strange smell and they are still all looking good not crumbling or anything. I just don't want to have a disaster such as eye irritation or something worse.....so do I use them ??? or is it off to the trash they go ??
