Urban Decay - the anti-aging formula. It is even better than the original formula!

Urban Decay Eyeshadow primer or Benefit's Air Patrol primer in order of my preference.

Lots of good primers have been suggested. Since you specifically mentioned evening out the color of the eyelids, I'd like to recommend Bare Minerals 5 in 1 BB Advanced Performance cream eyeshadow. On QVC, it is sold in a set/kit, but you can buy it separately at Ulta and Sephora and BareMinerals.  Different shades are available.  I have been using this for quite a while and it's really good!

(By the way, some of the reviews say that they could not get all the product out.  I'm sorry, that's not true, you just pull out the inner collar and you can get to ALL of the product! Even if you have to use something longer to get to the bottom, you can get it ALL out.  I used one up and now use the applicator and "bottle" as an on-the-go lipstick brush.)

@TasMss  Thanks for the tip.  I've been trying to find a way to get to the bottom of mine.

Love this brand and I am a makeup snobb. The items are highly pigmented and are just good.

For my eyelids I was using the MAC Painterly paint pot, but it only lasted about 8 hrs on me which is okay on some days, but the MAC 24 hour eye base is even better!!! I will not be without it!

Re: Eyeshadow Primer?

[ Edited ]

Urban decay, as popular as it is - dries my lids out to the point of peeling and wrinkling - it looks AWFUL. I won't purchase again. I have to use very sparingly only on the lids, and not above. I would suggest trying the anti-aging as i hear it is more moisturizing if you have dry skin.

Re: Eyeshadow Primer?

Thanks to everyone for your responses. I prefer a pigmented primer as I like to even out the color on the lid before applying eyeshadow. There are some great suggestions and I will check them all out. Thanks again!
