I too have oily skin and very oily eyelids.

The only eye shadow primers that help are Too Faced EYE Insurance (pictured in PP) and Urban Decay. Only in the original versions, the colored and tinted versions smear on me.

I finish with a touch of setting powder then apply my eyeliner Bobbi Brown or Kat Von D.

If it is extremely humid I tap a sealing liquid over the liner.

@Abrowneyegirl I tried to use Urban Decay lid primer and my eye lids started to sting.  Have you had any issue?

Thanks.Smiley Happy

@ECBG   I can only wear the original version.  The other tinted versions irritate my eyes or melt.

@ECBG Yes purple tube.  It is a creamy ivory color, thick and dries almost colorless.

For people with dry skin, they complain about how drying it is.  For those of us with oily skin it is heaven-sent.

Re: Eyeliner that will stay even with oil eye lids

I use IT eyeliner.  Recently, I went to Macy's to replenish my eyeliner, but Macy's was out of the black.  I asked the girl what she would recommend for long-lasting, no tug, no smear, waterproof eyeliner.  She said "Urban Decay".  WOW - she wasn't kidding.....that stuff is easy to apply, creamy,  doesn't skip and is certainly VERY waterproof.  I'm hooked.... Urban Decay eyeliner is my choice!

I don't have oily lids but I find an eye primer is a must to keep any eye makup looking fresh.
