Re: Eyelash curlers

[ Edited ]

I had one a long time ago. The brand was Mirenesse. It was a wand style heated curler. It worked okay but as soon as I applied mascara then my lashes would go straight again. I think it would be good if you are not going to apply mascara.

ETA-

I read that you can 'prime' your lashes with one coat of mascara before using the heated curler and that's suppose help curl and stay curled after you apply the second/third coats.

Not one that's specifically made to heat up. I will blow a little heat from my blow dryer on mine, though, when I think of it.  Proceed with caution.  I carefully touch it to my lip to check the temperature before doing my lashes.

I have one.  It's a wand style also.  I really like it; no more getting my eyelid caught in the squeeze-type.  It also has a few temps to choose from, and It feels comfortably warm against my eyelid.  I've never used the highest temp, but I doubt it gets hot enough to burn.

I never heard of heated eyelash curlers.  Learning something new every day is a good thing and perfect use of a public forum!  Thanks!  Will search for before and after pictures.

When I HAD decent lashes😵‍💫,I really liked the heated curlers, but I put on a light coat of mascara first--did an ok job--now I have wonky, short, straight ,puny lashes due to chemo years ago--it's a major production trying to use mascara--also have fake ones that I've never tried---
