???? A barber? As in an old fashion barber shop with a male barber? NO WAY!!  What does a man know about shaping brows????

About as much as a PROFESSIONAL & non-professional male make-up artist does.

Today, there are brow bars for this. Females who have been trained and know how to shape brows to flatter your face shape.

Anastasia is one example but there are others.

@ahoymate  Yes, old school barber shops.  Since the 21st century & prior in some hoods,  barbers are graduates of beauty schools as well as starting out in an apprenticeship.  Old school BS have enlarged - up to 15-20 chairs.

Barbers are TRAINED LICENSE professionals.  Some specialize.  There are just as many FEMALE barbers as well as males.  At the one I go to, it's 50/50.  A lot of males seem to perfer female barbers and femals love getting their nails done by male manicurists.

The stylist I went to, who gave the best haircuts--for men and women, was trained as a barber in the UK and now tours with bands like Coldplay and U2.

Is there anyone else here that does nothing to their brows besides me? 🤓

@JFD12

I do one thing after washing my face/applying moisturizer/makeup: I brush them with an old toothbrush.

It's really the only time I think about them.

Thanks for the replies.  My brows have turned grey/white and my skin is white so it is hard to find them nowadays.

The first time I got my eyebrows tweezed and shaped was from a man in a salon. He did a wonderful job. I wouldn't rule out grooming services because of a person's gender.

It's more about training, know what women's face shape is best for brow shape. Generic barber shop would be unacceptable. Men in salons that offer brow shaping have more than likely been trained. Brow bars, men working there, have been trained to work with women's brows.

It's not about the gender, it's about being trained to work on women's brows. Anyone can take a tweezer & scissors and call it brow shaping.
