I've been using Just for Men Mustache and Beard dye on my eyebrows for quite some time.

Works great and readily available in any drugstore. One box lasts months.

Well, following the directions I put on petroleum jelly above and below the brow to prevent that exact problem from happening just as you are suppose to do with hair color. And no, when I put on the jelly there was no staining afterward. The directions are very specific about what to do.

On Amazon, many of the people giving this product a low rating state it's too dark when finished. Ouch.....that's not a good look. Maybe start by leaving it on for 1-2 the time to see how it processes...then build up the time. Better be safe than sorry.

Right now I use my boxed hair color (I carefully use a clean mascara wand to apply) and it doesn't tend to color the skin. But I would like something that is specifically meant for brows if I can find it!

I use Just For Men Mustache & Beard. However, you can use any permanent tint to color your brows. However, to keep from staining my skin I apply the tint with a plastic toothpick with the little bristles on the end. They are sold near the dental floss at Rite Aid. I use a pea sized glob of the color tube and a pea sized glob of the peroxide tube and mix them in a little plastic medicine cup that came with the kids Advil. I then use the toothpick to apply to the eyebrow hairs only. This keeps the dye off my skin and on the hairs only. I use a magnifying mirror as it is sometimes hard to see the white hairs. I leave it on for 8-10 minutes. It lasts about 6-8 weeks.

A word of warning: Just For Men is designed for facial hair which is very resistant to color. The manufacturers have formulated the color to really grab on - and it does! Even though my brow hairs were quite dark I use Light Medium Brown. I tried the dark brown and I looked like Groucho Marx!
