I am in desperate need of a good shaping of my brows. I was wondering which is better waxing or threading? I've never had my brows threaded. Also about how much money does it cost and do you go to a nail salon or a place that just offers hair removal services?

My personal experience has been that threading is quicker and more precise. A woman at the salon/spa I go to does it. They charge only $8, but I live in an area where services are cheaper than most places.
If you use retin A waxing is a no-no.

After years of turning beet red from the wax, I have gone back to plain old plucking, I let my nail tech do it for me, pay same price as the wax, but no suffering after.

I get mine waxed. I have never tried threading, but it definitely is much more precise and it looks better and lasts longer-my niece does threading and her brows look fabulous....I am too chicken to try it, I am so used to waxing. The key is finding a really good experienced person for either..........Get some recommendations from people who have had it done if you can. I can always tell someone who has had their brows threaded, it just looks so much better to me!

Have you checked the malls in your area? At our local mall there is a couple of places that do threading, one kiosk and the other is an actual storefront. I had it once and I thought it took longer than waxing, but may try again as the waxing leaves me really red and I don't bounce back as quickly as I'm getting older.

I have both done, but like threading better. It's more precise and lasts longer. It's less expensive also. They're both pretty quick, but in my experience threading takes more time. So if I'm in a super-hurry, I have my eyebrows waxed. But I far prefer threading.

I pay $8 to have my brows done, only takes 5 minutes.
