Hairdressers do them all the time. They keep a close eye on them and use a lower volume for eyebrows than hair coloring. I need to get mine done as well.

I've done my own eye brow tinting for years at home and have left it on twice as long and multiple applications.  Never any problem.  If you have a reaction at first touch then stop.  Easy fix.

I've used Just For Men for many years. It seems to last me for about a year. I use a pea sized glob from each tube (the tint and the developer) and I leave it on for about 10 minutes.   I wipe it off with a cotton wipe soaked with Lancome eye makeup remover.  The color lasts about 4-6 weeks. I use light brown and have silver gray hair. It looks great.

This is another thing I am afraid of--- looking like I have 2 black smudges above my eyes!  If I do keep this appointment, I will certainly tell them - for what it's worth -- that I don't want them dark at all --- just tinted so you can at least see them!

That's how I felt about coloring my hair!  I have colored it since I was about 16.  A couple years ago I just thought --- ugh -- enough - let's just see what happens.  So, I'm light salt and pepper right now.  I don't miss coloring it but at times I miss my color!  So, if I do go for the brow tint, I may decide the same thing ---- too much bother!
