Lovestoteach, you're welcome. I wish I could be of more help. There are other ingredients besides cyclodextrin that can be used to encapsulate retinol, so you might try searching for eye creams with time released or encapsulated retinol. I'm not aware of any eye creams that encapsulate AHAs, but I'll keep searching for you.

Thank you, cassiem, and all posters who might find that one!!!

Lovestoteach, I found one eye serum that contains retinol, 2 types of AHA, and BHA: Dr. Dennis Gross Ferulic +Retinol Triple Correction Eye Serum. It also contains some good antioxidants. The actives don't appear to be encapsulated or time released, but reviews say it is gentle. It can be used under eye and on eye lid. Paula Begoun gives it a "BEST" rating. I haven't tried it, but I have tried other products in this brand and have found them to be high quality and well formulated. This eye serum is available at Sephora, so might be worth getting a sample to try.
Dr. Dennis Gross Ferulic +Retinol Triple Correction Eye Serum ingredients: Water, Ethoxydiglycol, Propylene Glycol, Centella Asiatica Extract, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Ferulic Acid, Retinol, Potassium Azeloyl Diglycinate, Arctostaphylos Uva Ursi Leaf Extract, Arbutin, Morus Alba Leaf Extract, Salix Alba (Willow) Bark Extract, Quercetin, Caffeine, Ubiquinone, Sodium Hyaluronate, Salicylic Acid, Glycolic Acid, Mandelic Acid, Panthenol, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Disodium Lauriminodipropionate Tocopheryl Phosphates, Phospholipids, Tetrapeptide-21, Acrylates/Carbamate Copolymer, Disodium EDTA, PVM/MA Decadiene Crosspolymer, Urea, Polysorbate 20, Potassium Hydroxide, Phenoxyethanol, Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499).

Am using the Dr. Gross Ferulic Acid and Retinol above eyes and underneath. There is a noticeable difference when I stop using it. My eye makeup gets messy (sagging?) and I look "tired." The Dr. Gross will stay in my regimen. Thank you, cassiem, for finding this product.

Oh, I'm so glad it's working well for you. I've been "eyeing" it for myself. ![]()

I have been thinking about trying this eye product. Could I ask what type of skin you have? I won't ask your age!!! My concern is that it might be too drying for my mature skin. However, I definitely need something for the sagging eyelids and some firming underneath the eyes would be great. I am not expecting any miracles these days!!

jump4joy: I am 63... my skin is finicky and very pale; prone to breakouts and rosacea. Somewhat oily T zone, but dryness is beginning to be an issue. There are "crinkles" underneath my eyes when I smile. The upper eyes are beginning to show some creases. I use this so sparingly that one bottle will probably last for the rest of my life, unless I get brave and start to goop it on!!! LOL HTH The results are not drastic; just better.
