Eye concealer

I use concealer on my chin and around my nose and it's fine. When I use the same concealer near my eyes - specifically the inner eye area and below the eye, it looks cakey. It looks so bad, I end up not using it at all. Can anyone recommend a concealer that really works around the eyes? That covers up the darkness, but looks like my skin? I have normal skin and am in my 40's.
