Eye color and eye shadow

I don't have blue, green or even brown eyes. Mine are bluish grey w/flecks of green. Makeup artists are always trying to sell us the idea that their product will accentuate our eye color. But, what about those of us who have the eye colors they never discuss? Does anyone else have this problem? What works for your own eye colors?
