Yes, I use Smashbox filter single shadow. I think it's the only shadow I've ever hit pan on!

Touche Eclat applied just under the brow works for me.

Re: Eye Shadow On Your Brow Bone

For everyday, I use one light shade all over the eyelid and a color in the crease. If you really want to make the brow look lifted, a light shimmery shade can be nice. Urban Decay, "Virgin," in the Naked Palette, Laura Mercier "Sugar Frosted" eye shadow stick, and Mac "Nylon" are nice options. They also look nice on the inner corner of the eye.

Re: Eye Shadow On Your Brow Bone

Yes and no. Yes I always color/shade/highlight the brow bone; but no, usually not with an actual eye shadow per se.

Whatever blush I'm wearing is what I put on the area above the crease; not quite up to the under brow. Usually just what is left over on my blush brush. Directly under the eyebrow arch, I use a light concealer.

I use mineral foundation, blush, shadows, concealer, etc. and so all products are okay for use anywhere. Cory Cosmetics and Meow Cosmetics are my most used lines of mineral make-up. I can highly recommend either company.

My everyday go-to brow eyeshadow is BE's Snowflake. LOVE.IT. Don't know what I'll do when my stash is gone, since I don't think they make it anymore.

Re: Eye Shadow On Your Brow Bone

I pretty much ignore the brow bone. Foundation only, no highlighter, no shadow. If I use shadow its on lid and crease only, same lighter color of a taupe, grey or soft purple.

Yes, when I wear eyeshadow, I always wear some on my brow bone.

I have a few palettes & sets that came with pale shades appropriate for the brow bone but, lately I find myself using a little jar of BE called "Blush." It is a very pale pink shade.

Meant to add that regarding usage of a soft blush shade for brow bone color also, I leaned that technique from Michael Maron. Remember when he was on qvc with his Mojave Magic line?

Also did the same thing when I used BE, which was the first mineral make-up I tried. After 3 years, I moved on to indy mineral companies, but continue with the same application methods.

I like BE Natural light -- it has the two sides, Well-Lit and Back-Lit. I mix the two. I don't even know if BE still makes it, but there was an A-D series that had a fresh jar each time. I think I have a lifetime supply.

I remember him and the desert make up.

I learned so much from him!

Thanks for reminding me,
