I would never use something that old on my face. It’s not just a question of wether or not the retin A has lost its strength but what about the probable degradation of all the other chemicals in that product. I say throw it away!

I used to work in the medical field and of course we tossed all of our expired meds. However, the rule of thumb from the pharmaceutical reps was that it was safe to use 6 months after the expiration date. However, we never passed out sample tot our patients if the expiration date had passed. Nor did we give injections from expired meds. I would toss the Retin A. Two years is too far gone to use IMO.
