I had to laugh when you talked about the smell. LOL!  Like rotten eggs, sort of, huh? PU !  The main ingredient IS a derivative of sulfur. I hate that smell.

 

You are lucky it worked for you.  OOPS is a great product , but for some colors it can be the kiss of death. IMO.   Usually tinted blonds who have gone a dark color with an ash base wind up on a roller coaster road of re-do's. Once the brassy tone hits, it is so hard to redo.  If  one's hair has been over lightened before, the color molecules in the cortex can be destroyed.  Hair needs to grow out at this point, or wait for a color correction.   Cortex is the layer between cuticle and  the medulla. This contains pigment and keratin.

 

However, I think OOPs can work as well as most salon treatments.
