Ever notice in regard to green eyes that

Have you ever noticed when reading makeup reviews that it seems that there are countless reviews about a product making their "green eyes pop" yet only 2% of the population actually has green eyes? Does every single person with green eyes post makeup reviews? Actually, I have olive green eyes which is common for people of Hungarian decent. I have a coworker who always talks about her green eyes but I swear they are blue. I was wondering if a lot of people misclassify their color? How can it be that so many posters have that color when such a low percentage of the population actually does?
