I noticed this is being sold at Dermstore at $80 to $90 per .33 fl oz. Is anyone using this? How long with .33 fluid ounces possibly last? There were a few older posts that talked about ethocyn, but they were closed for commenting.

I used it a long time ago, but I wouldn't pay that for it.  I usually got 2 vials, an eye cream, a face cream, and sometimes a lotion for probably around $50 on eBay.  I liked the prodcuts, but didn't see anything amazing like they had with their half face models.  But, then again, I'm not wrinkly.

I got a TS kit in 1998 when Polly Bergen was repping it on HSN, never bought it again, no miracles for me.

I had an auto ship of it on HSN about 20 years ago. They stopped carrying it. It was a very good price on HSN.

Ethoxyheptyl Bicyclooctanone is the molecule and INCI for Ethocyn.  It is supposedly a penetration enhancer but everything I found states there really is not proper research to verify the claims.  More impressive in the ingredient deck is the form of vitamin C used, Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate.  It is a pricey one but stable and soluble in oil.  Makes sense since the Ethocyn product I looked up is the Essence Serum and is anhydrous.

The formula actually is a nice one with the Tetra C, squalane, and some very nice antioxidants.  Maybe a little heavy on the 'cones for some skin types.  The very inexpensive 'cones do not warrant the hefty price tag even with the Tetra C and other ingredients.  .33 oz and $80!?  Yikes!!

Yes, this is crazy expensive for a tiny amount. I am in search of something that increases elastin. I already use retin a and have for 20 years. I really don't have an issue with wrinkles, but I know I will in time. Everybody does. I am looking to prevent issues as much as possible. Prevention is easier than repair.

I apprecaite the responses.

@BellaCarro I appreciate your informative posts.  I had no idea what this was and you saved me from asking or looking it up for myself!  Thank you.

I too was on autoship for this.   I received 3 vials for $31.   Then all of a sudden, they stopped coming and my autoship was cancelled.  I don't know if it really did anything, but I did like the way it felt on my face.   I would never pay the price they are asking for now.
