It wasn't lost on me - and hopefully many others.
I completely agree with everything you wrote.
Thank you for that.
I hope the original OP comes back and participates in the many various other Forums/threads/topics.
As a relatively new poster (but many years a lurker/shopper) I understand her hesitancy if she feels mis-understood ...I still don't think she posted to provoke or instigate anything
...but that's JMHO.
OP if you are reading this---post again to the Fashion or Beauty Banter Forums..or where your favorite topics are discussed!

Wenner you going to realize it's not going to happen?

OP posted her apology to Wenners in the Beauty Banter section. Click --> here <-- to view it.

Well, it was nice of her to post an apology, but her scolding/irritated tone in the OP was not lost on me. If she really wants to be a participant in these forums, that's probably an area that she could improve.
I do think it's ironic that her complete irritation seems perfectly fine to some people here (WEN users or no) because "she didn't mean to post it in the WEN forum." Wherever she MEANT to post it--the sentiment was condescending AND rude.
WEN is a big product line on the Q. We enjoy it and spend a lot of money on it. We don't need to be sorry that we like to talk about it.
(And if you want more posts on other topics, by all means, start them!)

I agree, that her original post was rude, but her apology seems sincere, which is why it was easy for me to accept. Maybe she was having a bad day. I can relate to those.

I agree that she did the right thing by apologizing. She was ridiculed and criticized here to a point that I felt was over-the-top. And she tried to make things right by apologizing. I just can't see anything wrong with that. She made a mistake and she apologized. I see no point in continuing to chastise her. How much is she supposed to grovel? What more is she supposed to do?
I've posted here on bad days and probably sounded more snippy or grouchy than I intended, and I don't think I ever apologized for that. So good for her! She didn't commit a horrible crime. And she apologized. That's more than good enough for me.

WOW...I see the the war between the haters and lovers still carries on! Amazing! Personally I've always found the bashing threads to be hysterical!

Frankly, I agree. I use Wen, like it and it has really helped my hair. Intend to stay with it until something better comes along. And I know that will happen and I will try that product. Right now Wen works for me.
But, but, but...the fanaticism is a bit much. I just don't get it. Reminds me of the kids screaming over the Beatles back in the 60's. Its really over the top.
Wen is a haircare product...

The bottom line is THINK BEFORE YOU SPEAK...or in this case write. The rest of us need to simply ignore posts like this......I have learned to let things go.....once you stop caring what others think or say about you the world is a happier place. I USE WEN, I LOVE IT AND I WILL POST 'WEN'NEVER I CHOSE TO DO SO.
