Emjoi nail trimmer

Has anyone tried this? Is it the same or different from the Emjoi manicure set?

The trimmer is different from the manicure kit. I own the manicure kit and this is for smoothing, polishing the surface and edge and not for trimming your nails. I don't own the trimmer but it looks like all it does is "file" down your nails.
