I would think only the bearded lady in the circus might use this for the face- {#emotions_dlg.scared}

You'd be very wrong!

Everyone has peach fuzz even if they don't have any white or black coarse hairs. Makeup looks so much better on a smooth face. Those who think peach fuzz is not noticeable are wrong. Seriously.

I would advise them to just take a look into their rearview mirror when it's a sunny day. They should probably pull over to the side of the road first because it's pretty shocking. :-)

That is where I first noticed it...what a shock!! The hair/fuzz is really light, but there was plenty of it!! I use a dry razor every so often, but think that this TSV might work for me!

I have a few questions for those of you that have it.

Does the hair grow back darker?

How long does the hair have to be to use it?

Does it cause ingrown hairs?

TIA!

no the hair does not grow back darker and I have never experienced an ingrown hair. it works on peach fuzz so apparently your hair does not need to be very long.

Thanks Andreatoo! I think I am going to give it a try. I had an older model. I only used it on my bikini area and I remember the hair had to have some length or it would not grab it. I like that this one can be used on peach fuzz on the face too.

my pleasure :-) I've tried a few hair removal method for the face i.e waxing even that stupid useless no no and I find epilating the most convenient and its thorough

Haha! I actually LIKE my No! No! It removes the hair and I don't mind doing it two or three times a week because it's so easy and no down time. But I was interested in this after Lisa kept telling ME -- NO HAIR! It would be good to feel absolutely no stubble (even though you can't see it) as I do with the No! No! I ordered the Emjoi and am looking forward to it. :-) Another gadget for my collection.

I bought the nono with an extended trial around the holidays. Used it nearly daily, smelled burning hair and yet hair was still there! I eventually gave up and sent it back

I was just trying to remember what the return policy was on this, in case I LOVE the emjoi. I got mine in February from HSN -- is that when you got yours? Do you remember how long they gave us for the trial? Thanks!

I believe that the regular return policy for the nono might be 60 days. When I got mine 2 years ago I believe it was in November and they were giving an extended return through the end of January for all holiday purchases.

Thanks -- looks like I'm a lifetime No!No! owner, then. That's okay -- if I love the Emjoi the No!No! can join my other "must haves" in my gizmo graveyard. :-)

maybe the nono does eventually work but in two months I had no results. When I bought it they were advertising immediate results and then better results the more you used it. Now they've changed their tune a bit probably because of the reviews and all the returns and are saying it takes much longer to see the results.

I didn't care if the results were permanent because I'd have to wax or use a depilatory anyway, and this was faster and didn't redden/irritate my face. But if I CAN get more time in between treatments, and really get the hair out by the root, I'd be thrilled. I can always use the No!No! on my arms if I'm going to be wearing something sleeveless. Not a total loss. :-)

just use a regular shaver on a dry face for peach fuzz. No need for this contraption.

I've used razors before. Lots. I like the look I get with the epilator much better.

Razors also irritate my skin no matter what I do. Red, irritated skin is not a good look even if there is no hair on it. lol...

ok ladies, I took one for the team and tried my Emjoi Emagine on my face. I didn't think it would work because of the length of the hair and the fine texture but it did! Slight discomfort but nothing intolerable. Why didn't I try this sooner? I agree with all of the posts that every face has some degree of peach fuzz. I have very sensitive skin so I would have done better waiting for bedtime because I do have some redness. Had to go over it a couple times to get all the hairs.

I'm considering this TSV. I cannot wax, because I lose skin when the strip is ripped off. The NONO! burned my face, but worked great on my legs. I'm confused because the instructions state it can be used to remove "individual hairs" on the chin, etc. I'm watching a presentation and the vendor is using it all the lower half of her face.
