I am not sure how adblockers work anymore.  Don't use them with Mac.  I do block pop-ups, but the qvc pop-ups break thru.

The ads in You Tube are in the videos.  You don't see ads at the beginning of the videos?

your ad blocker may not be that honest though, if it is telling you it has blocked 20 ads on THIS page.  There are no ads here.  There are banners about Easy pay, and the Holiday return policy and other graphic links.  Maybe the adblockers thinks they are ads?

No, I don't see ads on YT.  In fact, I had no idea ads on YT was a thing till my husband started watching YT on his phone.  I've had ad blocker since before I started watching YT.  Now it's telling me it's blocked 2 ads on this page.  

Ad blockers were suggested to me decades ago when I was on dial up.  They can use a lot of bandwidth that impacts your speed when you're dealing with such a slooow connection.

Do not forget the President of the Q. said in the announcement the boards are staying open "into 2022."   That of course could mean all of next year or 1/1/22 at 12:01 a.m.

No ads on the qvc forum pages at all, @monicakm. In fact, that is one of the suggestions people have for QVC.  I wouldn't mind ads on the side as long as they were just for qvc, and not over the text but to the side.  Maybe about the topics being discussed.  But no, there are no ads.

Do you have a You Tube subscription?  I don't, so I get ads at the beginning of most videos.  Most of the times ads can be skipped after 5 seconds or so by clicking on a mark.  But if I don't click, there can be several ads.  If the video is long, they put ads in the middle too.

My internet connection is fast, and I have no problems.  I can watch movies with only very ocasional blips.  Last night, I think you replied to my message it felt like a second after I posted.

When I had those blockers when I used computers with microsoft sofware (pre 2013, maybe longer), the blockers gummed up webpages from downloading.  Happier with mac.  I do use the pop up ad blocker and anti-tracking features that the mac offers.  My guess is the QVC pop ups are not real pop ups.

Many YT videos contain links to outside shopping venues so I cannot imagine that's allowed.  And as others have said, the ads.

If I've been banned for posting outside links/videos, I wouldn't chance it.
