Hmmm, I use an oral B and its great. Its not new, about 3 yrs old, and there are 4 settings , from low to high- I bought it at the dentists office.

Does yours have settings? If not, get one with a low setting-  My hygienist told me that the Oral B electric brush is most similar to the tooth polisher they use in the office. That sold me- And I can find generic brush heads for it at local Odd Lot store (cheap)- Best wishes!

@Skyegirl21  yes it had the 4  settings , put on sensitive once I started brushing and found it so aggressive .   Still vibratung way too hard !   Sent it back to Amazon already and will send the qvc one as well .

I have had a SonicCare for years and have found that sometimes you have to really push to get a new head on.

Lots of heads to choose from but I think the branded ones are better.  CostCo sometimes has sales of six heads.

Re: Electric toothbrush suggestions

I've been going down this road for the past year. I was giving up my Phillips Sonicare because the replacement brush heads are so pricey. So I'm on my 4th toothbrush and it is being donated (with new brush heads) . . . and I'm back to Phillips Sonicare.

@Still Raining @yes I've  tried to really push hard to get a replacement head on with no results many times.     It seems there are so many replacement heads for sonicare ,  I don't see why they can't just make them universal .

@Kitty Galore - I haven't experienced any issues mentioned in the comments or yours with using any new (Philips Sonicare Brush Heads) I would never buy anything else like knock offs.

Re: Electric toothbrush suggestions

I tried to use the promo code GLOWALLTHEWAY on the Soniclean Pro 4800 toothbrush and customer service told me it isn't a beauty product!
