Ebates or Mr Rebates?

Having heard about both of these sites here I thought I would ask the opinion of you ladies. I have been doing quite a bit of online shopping lately and I am wondering do you always use one of these sites for cash back or do you sometimes go directly through the store's website? I see the obvious benefits of both sites, but just wonder if there are any negatives when using them. Also any tips would be helpful since I will be new to this. I figure 1% back at some stores is better than nothing if I am buying online anyway.
