I saw Dr. Furhman last night on the pbs station and I'm very interested in his theory on losing weight. He says when the ratio of nutrients to calories in the food you eat is high, optimal health is achieved and fat melts away. The more nutrient-dense food you consume, the more you will be satisfied with fewer calories and the less you will crave fat and high-calorie foods. He also shows the way to reverse disease and accelerate fat loss by eating more superfoods - G.O.M.B.S. (Greens, Onions, Mushrooms, Beans, Seeds). I know he has been on Dr. Oz before, but I must have missed that one. Also, the book mentions to get rid of processed foods and animal fats. I went ahead and ordered the book on ebay and if any of you have read it, I would love to hear what your thoughts are! Thanks!!
