Re: EPILATOR & INGROWN HAIRS

With using that Panasonic Shaver @Shanus, I've never had a problem with ingrowns...no matter if I've just exfoliated or not. That's why I like it so much. My face feels so smooth after using the shaver because I think it works really good at removing the hair close to skin. I think you'll agree once you've tried it. There have been several other posters here who have used the Panasonic shaver and they seem to give a thumbs up also.

For me epilating my face was okay in the beginning but then the bumps started happening even when I exfoliated beforehand. It's just the way my facial skin works. Others may not have the same experience.

If you have curly hair, I think you’re more prone to ingrown hairs (me).  Also if you have Keratosis Pilaris  (“chicken skin”), where you tend to get bumps of skin around back of upper arms (also me).   I love epilating my legs since they are very hairy and and stubble feels like sandpaper but I get tons of ingrown hairs.  Yeah just lucky I guess.  I exfoliate wet and dry brushing but I still get them.  Sorry I have not figured any better process to get rid  of the hair and prevent ingrown hairs.
