@SahmIam I can understand why you might be tempted! I can only dream of hair like yours! Mine is very fine, between chin and shoulder length. I have a good (and not inexpensive) dryer that I love, and that really does speed up drying time, but I can dry my hair in 5 minutes without problem. I'll leave the Dysons to people with hair people envy!

@SahmIam wrote:@truffle I'll be honest, if they feature someone with long, thick, heavy hair and this machine dries it and makes it look WOW in very short period of time... It would tempt me (because that's the kind of hair I have and 45 minutes of blowing hot air on it during the summer is NOT FUN).
If it's someone with a short... waste of time. That doesn't show ANYTHING.
I'm with you. my hair doesn't take that long to dry, but a good solid 15 minutes each morning. If this blowdryer but that time in half I'd buy it in a heartbeat. I don't think it even claims to speed drying time though, does it?

For $400 plus tax, I want the hair dryer to float around my head w/o using my hands.
I also want it to talk to me in a sexy male voice on how fabulous my hair is looking.
When done w/my hair, dry my dishes since I do not have my portable dishwasher yet. Afterwards, dry the clothes I do not put in the dryer.
Float back to me to ask in its sexy male voice, "anything else my mistress?"
"Never argue with a fool. Onlookers may not be able to tell the difference."

So it will pick up all the sand, glitter, cereal, dust and pet hair in my head too? Or will it just blow it around my bathroom!
Never had a problem with my hair dryer losing suction......
And it dawns on me that we will have all day presentations of this thing!

The Racked website has an article about the new Dyson hair dryer that's going to be available this fall.

I'm chuckling at the Dyson hand sanitizer dryer that's in the mall washrooms. Maybe just stick your wet hair in one of those gizmos to dry it!
A Kardashian hair stylist is repping the new Dyson hair dryer according to the Racked article. That kind of says all you need to know about it!

Oh, and don't forget, "it will elevate your look".

I had my $20 blow dryer that lasted me over 20 years

For the price, this hair dryer needs to clean my house!
