You can use inexpensive aloe vera gel.

Yes.  Get a big bottle of 100% aloe vera gel.

 @ElvisShops I used my Nuface two years before it quit and used Spectra 360 electrode gel after the gel that came in the kit ran out. It was mentioned at the time  on air as an alternative for use with Nuface. It worked fine. Available on Amazon for $10.82 for two tubes. I hope your Nuface asts longer and you find it helps your complexion.

Aloe works but not completely. Aloe doesn't contain the correct amount of ions to make it as good as a conducting gel. So stick with a conducting gel...which ever one suits your wallet.

@ElvisShops   I do like the idea of using aloe - I think I'll try it, but I've used two different gels that I liked.

The first one I order from amazon:

Miracle II Neutralizer Gel/Toner 8 Oz (for Face & Body) (Miracle 2)

@ElvisShops   I hope you dont mind, but while looking up the NuFace, "Silk" Conductive Fluids suggested on this thread you started,

And THANKS to those suggesting the "Conductive Fluids Alts: on this thread also!!!  I've looked them up, & saved them...

..   I bought the NuFace (on Trial), with no intention of continuing to buy that "$$$ILK Conductive Fluids" that came with it!  So I'm also looking for Alts to Conductive Gels.

Yes it will work but the microcurrent from the Nuface is limited to being superficial meaning it doesn't work as it was intended to do and that is to reach deeper into the skin. There is a reason why conductive gels were created.

Mineral spring water facial sprays combined with a water-based serum makes for a good alternative. Mineral water contains the ions needed to make conductivity possible on the skin.

Ultrasound conductive gels contain glycols which aren't really good for the skin so avoid those.

Best to use a conductive gel formulated just for microcurrent devices. You can even stretch your dollar by using one along with the mineral water spray to keep it from drying out instead of applying more gel.
