I have very dry eyes as a side effect of some medication I take.  Before you look for a different concealer and mascara, I would want to get the dry eye problem under control.  Are you putting eye drops in during the day?  Is that when your makeup runs?  Maybe you are using too much or not keeping a tissue right below your eye to catch the drop that "blink out".  I use a gel eye drop called Gel-Tears.  Even with my extra dry eyes, I only need to use them 2x a day.  They are a much thicker drop and do not tend to "blink out" as others do.  The only thing you have to get used to is that your vision will be blurry for about 15-30 seconds after you put them in while the gel is covering your eye.

I know this must be frustrating for you, but treating the dry eye is more important than finsing different makeup.  Good Luck!

Sometimes I miss the eyeball and it leaks onto the skin.

A good tip for not missing your eyeball is to look up and to the corner when you place the drop.  If you are looking at the dropper, you are going to miss everytime.

There are other treatments available. I go to a specialist to have treatments 2-3 Times a year and it has CHANGED MY LIFE! I am not exaggerating. Please tell me MORE ...begging. One problem resolves only to get another one the dry eye...all bloodwork ruled out auto immune probs. I'm a nurse so this is kind of disabling to me blinking to get moisture...so it looks like I have a tic Smiley Sad ...my dry eyes happened slowly then boom this year like wham. Restasis Rx drops made it worse and others said the same on many forums...they use castor oil as preservative and it is

Hi Cargo56   Please share more about this.   I may have heard of it.  Is that the procedure that insurance doesn't pay for?   I , too, have MGD.  I believe that my Dr. recommended this, but I'm fearful of the risks.  Thanks

I also have dry eyes. They don't seem to be as bad as they used to be. I take 2 of Andrew Lessman's fish oil every day. I use Thera Tears when I need to. I also have dry mouth & dry nose. I just read that Vit D is related to dry eye. Get tested to make sure your levels are where they need to be. I gave up on trying to wear mascara & eyeliner when I was about 20.

Try Retaine.

Nothing the eye doctor recommended helped my dry eyes. But Andrew Lessman Ultimate Eye Support got rid of the problem. My eyes get bad again if I run out.

I have taken Andrew Lessman Omega 3's.  I like them.  That being said, the only supplement similar that has worked for my dry eye is one my ophthamologist recommended.  He sells it and Amazon sells it.  It's called HYDROEYE.  It truly made far more of a difference than Andrew Lessman's Omega.
