You should check out The Ordinary line. They have great products & the prices are so reasonable.

They list the ingredients & the results you can look for.

Then you can decide which product sounds like what you are looking for.

@Sue98   There's a difference between lightening and brightening. Lightening fades spots and discoloration with the most recommended products Vit. C and Retinols. Brightening adds vibrancy to the skin and can be achieved also with Vit. C, Retinols, alpha and/or beta hydroxy acids. Most drugstore products have lower amounts of these ingredients or a weaker percentage.

You might like the Acure day and night cream. I love this brand.

@silkyk  I have the Brightening Night Cream, but I haven't opened it yet.

Good to hear that someone else likes it.

@Sue98 , I use Neutrogena Bright Boost...I got mine at Walgreens.   They carry a full line.  I'm using the exfoliating wash.

@Sue98  Give Acure a try.  Target carries it in store and online but I don't know how much of the line is in the store.  Also, check their website acure.com and they do have brightening products.  Free shpg. with $35 purchase with acure.com

Brightening seems to be the new buzzword.  They've given up on wrinkles and aging?

Although I have not tried this, it looks promising because it has 10% glycolic acid which is what you need for a brightener to work. This one has some impressive reviews. I would be tempted to try it based on those and also the price of less than $25. I saw this at Target.

They also make peel pads with 20% GA, also sold in stores.
