Drugstore makeup. Yep I did it

I was watching a Jessica Braun dupes video the other day. By the way she said Milani has a cream bronzer that is quite similar to Nars cream bronzer.  This Maybelline eyeshadow wasn't in her dupes video but close to what she had on her eyes in that video. I looked at that one and the one I bought and liked it better.  Totally forgot I bought it till I pulled it out of the bag tonight. It's very very pretty. It has tiny pink pinpoints/ reflects.
Hopefully it applies nicely.

I know what I said earlier about not buying any more eyeshadow. And I meant it. I was influenced and I don't know how much I paid for it but I'm sure it was fairly inexpensive.

Generally most formulas are pretty much the same. And you are NOT paying for the packaging. It is marketing that drives the prices and the hype.

@monicakm  Excellent choice! I've used that exact color before and purchased it multiple times- it is super pretty on the eyes and has a nice sparkle to it. Smiley Happy

Re: Drugstore makeup. Yep I did it

I am giving up "High End" makeup and skincare. We are retiring in December 2025 so I am looking at my spending and finding what I can do without and exchange for less expensive alternatives. I have switched to all drugstore hair and skin products. All of the products that I am now using are doing a great job. I should have done this a long time ago, but I do believe that drugstore skin care products and drugstore makeup have made huge advances in quality. As I finish a "high end" makeup product I replace it with a drugstore product. I am pleasantly surprised at how much I like the drugstore products and that I don't miss any of the more expensive products that I used to use.

For those of you who think that drugstore makeup is not as good as more expensive prestiges brands I recommend trying them.

@Applecakes

I was going to mention that!

I bought it years ago when it was considered the most flattering shade out there.  I can't remember now if I paid 89 cents or $1.19.

If I hadn't given up shadow, I might still be using it.

So popular, it was difficult to find in the stores. Woman LOL
