I like Maybelline Rocket Volume Express - gives great volume and lift to my short stumpy lashes. I like that it comes in brownish black. Would prefer regular brown but at least it's an option other than blackest black.

I know you have a lot of choices already, but I had to add my all-time favorite drugstore mascara which is Maybelline's The Falsies Big Eyes Volume Express. It has upper and lower lash brushes and I get perfect lashes every time. The only mascara that comes close to this one is Lancome's Defincils, but this one is better than Lancome's and is 1/4 the price. Hope you find one that works for you :-) Good luck!

Cover Girl Lash Blast comes highly recommended though I haven't tried it yet.I like L'Oreal Voluminous Miss Manga.

I agree, much prefer a brown or even brownish black mascara(if I can't get brown) but in so many you are stuck with black only, why is right.
