Anytime I can find a highly recommended dupe, I am among the first to try. I think there are many drug store brands that are equal to or better than high end.

Here's my only problem. With high end products, one is always guaranteed a refund or exchange if the product does not meet expectations. With drug store or especially discount store items, refunds or exchanges are not allowed or they have to call the asst. mgr., the manager and anyone else with "authority" to have us explain why we want to return or exchange the item. Then they (mostly men) evaluate our reason to either approve or deny the action. (ex. Walgreens)
