Dr. Young's Camellia Cleansing Oil

I'm a big fan of this product and it is no longer sold on Amazon which is where I was getting it.  I tried a different Camelia Oil cleanser and didn't care for it, too runny.  I have also tried the Palmers Cleansing oil which is not a Camellia Oil cleanser and didn't care for it either.  I am currently mixing that with a SSC Olive Oil cleansing oil just to use them up.

After an extensive Google search I found the Dr. Young product on a site called RoseRoseShop. The site is in Korea, so the shipping has to be considered both cost and time, but I'm giving it a try.  I'm thinking the shipping cost might be better if you order more products.  I went ahead and ordered 2 bottles, so that will last me for quite awhile.  The site has a lot of Korean products if you're into that.

My husband ordered a 3-D printer back in the spring and while it took awhile to get here, his spools of filament came ahead.  It was kinda funny.  I told him he had a package and he fessed up that he had bought the printer.  I said that was one very small printer.  Then he opened it and found the filament and the note explaining the shipping delays on the printer.  I'm sure there was a flash of relief, but the printer did show up as promised.

Re: Dr. Young's Camellia Cleansing Oil

I use the Tatcha Camellia Oil as my first step in my evening double cleanse (whether I'm taking makeup off or not).  I like it!  Someone here was kind enough to let me know the Q had a super size bottle (and I think the Essence) as a TSV.

@monicakm I have never used Tatcha, but several people here in the past has compared Dr. Young's to Tatcha but at a lower price.  Even having to pay the extra shipping, I think the price is still a lot less than the Tatcha product.  I saw it on Amazon one small bottle for $48.  I paid $46 for two larger bottles plus the shipping.

Re: Dr. Young's Camellia Cleansing Oil

I discovered Dr. Young's Camelia Cleansing Oil years ago as a more affordable dupe for Tatcha. I miss it too.  I've thought about ordering from Rose Rose from time to time, even thought about maybe going back to some old Korean favorites, but right now I'm doing fine with my current routine.  Still, I think about it though and now you have me thinking about it again. Re: Dr. Young's Camellia Cleansing Oil

@JeanLouiseFinch I received my order today.  So, it came from South Korea to my address in about 3 weeks.  They also included several one-use samples.

It was interesting watching the progression.  Most of them were so generic I had no idea where my package was which was a little disconcerting.  Then, I got the one where they cleared customs.  After that, every couple of days it would list a city name with no state.  I decided to look one of them up thinking I would probably find several MORROWs but actually only saw 2 and one was in GA, so I was hopeful I would be getting it soon.

All-in-all I wouldn't hesitate to use Rose Rose Shop again even with the elevated shipping.  It still beats Tatcha prices.  It would be interesting to see if the shipping would remain the same if I ordered 3 rather than 2.  I'm wondering if it's a standard price up to a certain weight limit.

@Icegoddess

I still have more than half of my large bottle of it and the essence I bought here from some kind sole's advice.  I'll put out an sos when I'm about finished.  I LOVE the stuff but am not against paying less for something just as good Smiley Happy
