Are you having any luck with this product? It is clear there is a huge design flaw in that you can't get the dispenser cap on -- at least I can't. If you can, please tell me how.

 

Without the pump dispenser, you are stuck applying it like a salt shaker. There is also no seal so the stuff goes flying everywhere even before you try to apply it. 

 

There was a thread about this, but I can't find it. I have not tried it because of the mess factor.

I was able to get the pump dispenser on.  Just take off the shaker cap by pulling it off and screw on the pump dispenser in its place.
