Re: Dr Perricone w/Lisa R Chat

I enjoyed the interview, thought it was very informative.

Well, he is 67, and he did start with significant acne scarring.

I first saw him many years ago and he does not look any older now.

I do not use his products as they are out of my budget, but I do agree with the importance of exercise and diet for anti-aging. IMO, much more important than topical products except sunscreen. Tanning is so aging.

I completely agree, plus there is that all important genetics issue.  Some people just age more gracefully than others as it is in their genes.

i am curious how those who seem to dislike Lisa know all about what she is/is not doing.  Whilst is not for me, it seems pretty cool in today's day and tough economy to be retired at 50.  Maybe she is just enjoying herself and life or working on something, but that is all her choice.  Good for her!

Re: Dr Perricone w/Lisa R Chat

I firmly believe a diet high in healthy foods, antioxidants, etc. is the most important factor in "lack of aging"--that and SPF.

I have read many different thoughts on the importance of 8 glasses of water for skin health.  Some say that's not necessary.  I get plenty of water due to all the vegetables I eat daily.  I also believe in the power of lean protein.

I'm surpirsed Lisa hasn't announced her next move.  It's been over a year, and I was certain she would after her year was up.

Obviously, she is keeping herself relevant with these interviews.  Dr. Perricone sits down with her (though I've not seen it);however, he refuses to show up at QVC.

LOL!  Go figure!  Point well-taken.  LR has the connections to remain relevant in fashion and beauty as she pleases, when she pleases..  She also recently did an interview w/ Dr. Denese. She's doing what she wants, when she wants.  Kudos to her!

Re: Dr Perricone w/Lisa R Chat

Thank you for that summary, rrpell!  I tried to listen to the interview, but the sound was very low and I didn't know how to fix it.  This has been a problem with Lisa's interviews, although her decorating presentations were much louder.  Does anyone know how this can be fixed?

@Ms X  My husbands saw me,  computer on my lap and face in front of the screen, listening to the interview.  He asked what I was doing and I told him I couldn't hear their voices.  He left and came back with an ear piece that I plugged into the computer.  Problem solved! I hope this works for you❤️

Lisa has maintained that she's not retired.  There's a USA Today headline from last March quoting her as saying she's not retired.
