Dr. Gross Extra Strength Peel Pads.....are they worth it?

Are these pads really worth the money? With shipping and tax, it's over $90 for only 30 pads. I know I read good reviews on there about them, but is a basically one month supply really worth close to $100.00?? Just exactly what kind of results do you see with these? Thanks ladies!

Hi!

I haven't tried them yet, but just went off many reviews from different sites like Amazon and Sephora. Wanted to let you know that I bought 60 pads from Ebay for $95. The price was actually $99, but I found a code online that took $5 off.

I plan to use them on a twice or three times weekly basis otherwise they are too expensive.

Thanks Shaunac. I was considering them since today all things are easy pay, but still don't want to pay a lot lot money if there is no pay-off. I've used exfoliating pads before (alphy hydrox pads and also other brands) and really saw no difference at all with them.

In a word, yes. But like Shaunac, I would never pay retail for them. If you are near a Sephora or Ulta, perhaps you could ask for a sample to try them. I buy the foil packs and cut them in half. I use the original strength every day, and my BFF uses half a pad 2 or 3 times a week.

I never pay retail for them, but they are worth it, IMO. I use them 2-3 times per week. There is ALWAYS a coupon code online for another site! I got one today for some site that was 20% off. Just google, and you'll find some. His are HGfor me!!

Another vote for YES!! They are worth it and as some have already said shop around. Sephora does/did carry a 5 pack and that is how I got hooked. I think the serums and night creams soak right in after I use them. I use the extra strength alpha Beta face peel.

I like his the best. I got the extra strength in a TSV Kit that came with his Ferulic + Retinol 3X Eye Serum, and his Ferulic Acid + Retinol Brightening Solution. I got the Dr. Denese TSV with her pads, but I still like Dr. Gross and PTR's the best. With Dr.G's, my face feels close to a microdermabrasion wash after using them.

Re: Dr. Gross Extra Strength Peel Pads.....are they worth it?

Wanted to add my two cents here. I bought the Dr. Gross pads quite awhile back at Amazon and got a pretty good price. I don't remember what it was now, but at the time it was about as good a deal as I could search out. BTW, I got the ones that are in the packet....I think there are some that come in a container, as well. Anyway, I was not that crazy about them...didn't notice much of a difference in my skin. Also, they have a bit of a tacky feeling on my skin...feels a little different from other pads I've used. But, the packets are really great for when you are traveling. Can't beat that aspect of them at all.

But let me tell you, a couple of days ago I tried Peter Thomas Roth's pads. I've had his container of pads for awhile now but hadn't tried them mainly because I already had an open container of Philosophy pads I was using. I got the PTR pads in a great kit he has here on QVC. And another reason I hadn't tried them is because I am LAZY. Supposedly with the PTR pads you are to apply them and then rinse them off after a little while. I ain't gonna do that. I told you I'm lazy! I did see here where someone had mentioned they didn't rinse them off and had no problems. Soooo, that's what I did a few nights ago. OMG, my skin was so soft and noticeably "better looking" the next day. I really like these pads. Granted, I've only used them for a couple of three nights, but so far so good.

Anyway, we all like different things. That's what makes the world go round. You know, gotta kiss a few frogs before you find your "peel pad" prince. HA!

I bought them from Amazon too. Thought they are good, but they do take longer to use at night than Dr. Denese's or PTR.
