Dr. Denese website has changed

Just tried going on Dr. Denese's website and it totally changed. Looks like she sold out to Guthy-Renker. It appears as if you can't buy individual products anymore - just kits which have a monthly charge associated with them. Basically a subscription service which is never good for the consumer. So sad. . .

oh wow, it looks like you are right! That is surprising! I wonder if that means there may be some changes in her formulas too.

I notice she is on QVC a lot less this past year or so. Maybe she will be phased out. I started using her products when she first came to QVC. Was a loyal customer. About 18 months ago or so, I pretty much switched over to a brand sold in dept. stores. I still use hydroshield and finishing up some Dr. D. face creams. (I seldom toss items.)

Re: Dr. Denese website has changed

I just went and looked. She just lost my business on her site. I was waiting for her next 20 ~ 50 percent off sale, where I can buy only what I need, and not buy a kit with stuff I won't use. Looks like another one bit the dust. {#emotions_dlg.angry}

Wow, what a difference. It does say Guthy Renker on the bottom of the page. And no more individual products?? I loved her eye creams... I will miss them if I can't order with her sales.

Edited to add: If you click on the tiny link on the top of the page right side, that says Existing Customers Click Here, you get to her old site. I wonder how long that will last?

Oh no, it looks like you're right. That's a huge bummer. I really don't like subscription systems. They always include things I don't want or need and in amounts that don't work for me.

Why do you make such a remark that her products might change? She sold to a marketer, not a new developer. Silly remark.

Re: Dr. Denese website has changed

That's too bad -- why do they do that? Sigh -- of course I know the answer -- money. It's always the money.

I remember buying ProActiv when they were selling on one of the channels years ago -- when they'd just launched. Really nice stuff, my best friend swore by it, and I trusted those two women. <> Now they're GR, too, and I've seen nothing but complaints (about GR, not about the products) and I can't help but just not respect them any more. I REALLY like Dr. Denese (the person, don't use her products) but I'm afraid she's lost my respect now, too.

I'd like to think it's an attempt to reach and help more people, but I fear it's probably just greed.

I don't understand this does this mean that you can't order items like we used to only the packages on the site for $60 per month? I don't need all of that stuff I like certain of her products like they hydroshield. I am confused.

Her old site is still active. http://store.drdenese.com/

I just think the subscription service is an additional site.
